ront took a couple with them above the promenade but quickly decided to race onto the pebbles before the top right fork went out of shot and I'd have to get on my bike to chase it again as it headed east. I literally threw the bike down (again) which is in the foreground to the right, decided a ledge of pebbles would add base perspective so jumped onto this - lay down and shot 2 off. One with the seagull that made the cut. The clouds remained great but the desired fork soon escaped therafter. There is a small sun flare on the original which at some point we decided was acceptable to remove. Though I might revert to the original version for the book as it was kind of nice too. Chasing clouds was one of the things I missed when we set up the studio. We had big north facing windows in the studio and I'd be dying to get out and chase some like these or some particularly nice stratuswotchamacallit drifting somewhere. But we were always pretty flat out with the guest shows by then and cloud chasing needs time! A photographers favourite that went into the 2004 calendar.
