as numerous interpretations everywhere! We used a superb vesion as front of our 2010 calendar by Sebastien Krebs. I used to get very strange looks from other photographers and the general public when I was to be seen lying down at various locations looking for reflections. But these days - largely due to great creative sharing on such sites as flickr - your'll see a host of photographers getting wet knees on such shoots today. (These shots mainly involve getting your knees wet as you try and get as low as possible to pick up the reflection of the sky and pier). This print came out for Xmas 2002 and sold very fast. It was obviously taken prior to the collapse of the concert hall that occurred on December 28th. We had some great competition entries in this style with some fantastic pier reflection. I think this one maintained it's popularity as the blues were so striking - and as it was just prior to the collapse. Appeared in the 2004 calendar.
